SSDB 2023: Trip to the Sky Garden

On the 12th and 14th of July, the K2 children had a visit to the Sky Garden at Blk 372A Jurong East St 32. During their visit, they met with Mdm Kamisah, a gardener at the Sky Garden, who brought them for a tour around the garden. The children saw many interesting plants such as Rose Apple, Guava, Long Beans and Wintermelon plant. Besides learning about different types of plants, the children also had the chance to do their own planting of lettuce and long beans which they thoroughly enjoyed. Through this 2 days of visit, it also raised the children’s awareness on the importance of plants, nature, earth and protecting them through practicing the 3Rs regularly. It was truly a meaningful 2 days of visit to the Sky Garden!
