SSDB 2022 Finale - Displaying Care for the Environment Through Planting

On the 22nd of October, the children and their parents had a synchronous seed-planting activity via Zoom. The children learned the steps in planting a seed and ways on how to take care of it to ensure that it will grow into a matured plant.
The plastic bottles that were used as pots were provided by the parents. It was collected from them as part of the recycling drive activity during the earth day celebration. The plastic bottles were decorated by the children in the school before the event.
On the 28th of October, our centre had our SSDB Finale. The N2 children visited the showroom prepared by the teachers. The plants as well as the pictures during the various activities that were done were displayed in the showroom.
The children took care of their plants in school and they witnessed the progress of their plants in the past few days. They were also taught about the stages of how a plant grows. Afterwards, the children brought their plants back home to further take care of them until it grows and becomes mature plants.
