SSDB 2022: Small Steps Big Love
PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Jurong Central Blk 403 X Tasek Jurong It has been a week since our first charity drive! We had the opportunity to work with Tasek Jurong closely with the goal of contributing back to the community. It would not have been a success without the teachers’ and children’s creativity and hard work creating crafts for the charity drive using recycled materials and ultimately, the support from our parents.
The children displayed resilience and yet compassion when working with others and creating their own creations with teacher’s facilitation. They were able to use recycled items to use them for better purposes such as pencil holder, Ice cube painting, dreamcatcher, and 3D crafts!
Our Tasek Jurong collaborator, shared wonderful stories and activities that highlighted about importance of being unique and also treating everyone with compassion no matter their differences.
Our charity driver was embraced by our EP, Ms Jennifer Tan, fellow CPs and grassroot leaders. who dropped by to give us their support.
We aim to collect a small amount and indeed with all the love we receive, it was indeed, SMALL STEPS BIG LOVE.
The fund collected will be for the beneficiaries of Tasek Jurong.
