"We cannot change the world alone, but a single drop can start a wave of change."
Since January, our Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2 children have embarked on an inspiring Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) sustainability adventure. From classrooms to the community, here is how our little learners made a big splash:
The Spark (February): We kicked off with an interactive Water Workshop in celebration of Earth Day, igniting a passion for conservation.
Hand in Hand with Home: Armed with special Take-Home Kits, parents partnered with us to practice and photograph water-saving habits right in their own homes!
Diving into Inquiry: The children then dove into a 2-week Inquiry Lesson, exploring saving water through hands-on experiments and adults sharings.
Mission to Marina Barrage: Our K2 children went on an exciting learning journey to the PUB Marina Barrage, seeing Singapore's water story firsthand and becoming true eco-champions.
The Grand Finale: Family Day! We brought our entire school community together for an unforgettable day! The fun started with an exciting Water Play session at Marina Barrage, followed by a thrilling Go Green SG Race at Gardens by the Bay! Families teamed up to hunt for our teachers, snap creative photos with our official Go Green SG banner, and collect 3 precious stamps on their game cards. The reward for completing their mission? A beautiful, heartwarming family photo to commemorate our shared green journey!
By bridging school, home, and community, we aren’t just teaching water conservation—we are building a legacy of love for our planet. Thank you, parents, for dreaming big and racing alongside our little ones!
