Children explored different types of food. Teachers introduced healthy plate and different food groups. They had the opportunity to explore grains, meat, vegetables and fruits. They learnt the eight steps of washing hands, making sure that they handled the food safely and with proper hygiene. The 132 children spent 10 hours in this project.

We invited a parent to share “Sheperd’s Pie” receipe. She showed ways to clean the ingredients before cutting and cooking. It was a great and educational experience for the children.

Children had the fun of having Fruity Friday by bringing their favourite fruit.
