Recycling arts 🎨

During our term 3 project work, the K2 children were introduced to recycling arts. This type of art seeks to transform waste such as paper, cardboard, plastics, rubber into work of art. During the introduction, we collected different recyclable materials such as cartons, plastic bottles, and bottle caps to show it to the children. After which, we discussed with the children what type of arts can we create out of these recyclable materials. Some of the children suggested that they can paint their favourite characters on the cardboards and use them for role-play. While the rest suggested that they can use the plastic bottles to create them into pencil holders and a mural of a garden. The K2 children were able to creatively make use of the recyclable materials to turn them into beautiful recycling artworks!
