Pots of Love

In developing the theme on “Hands of Love”, the K2 children of En-Naeem Mosque Kindergarten did an activity on planting. It definitely feed both curiosity and passion in children as they potted up a plant.

For our introduction to gardening, we began with planting our seed pods. A few days after, the children were so excited to see how quickly our plants grew! While we watched the plants grow, we had a blast learning all about plants’ structures and what they need.

Through this activity, the children learnt that families begins from two and began to grow to more members in the family. They understood that they need each other in the families in good or bad times to build a stronger relationship. Just what plants need to grow.
