Personal Hygiene

Children did the following experiment:

Pour water into a shallow dish.

Sprinkle glitter into the water. (Glitter represents the germs).

Dip your index finger into liquid soap, then dip the finger into the centre of the dish.

The glitter moves away from the soap.

From this activity, the children were able to learn the importance of using soap for hand washing to keep us clean.
