PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Kampong Chai Chee blk 424 Parental workshop cum beach clean up with Our Singapore Reefs

On 17th August 2019, we invited a speaker from Our Singapore Reefs to our centre to conduct a workshop with our parents . Lynette was very engaging as she presenting multiple interesting facts about the marine life in Singapore’s waters and shared with us the work that Our Singapore Reefs does to help keep our ocean clean.

After the workshop, we headed to Changi beach to pick up litter and clean the beach up.

After an hour of hard work, we stopped for a short break at the beach shelter to have a picnic before we wrapped things up and headed back home.

Despite the blazing sun and our tired bodies, the children, parents, teachers and the team from Our Singapore Reefs had such a meaningful Saturday morning cleaning the beach in our best efforts to keep the environment clean and the ocean liveable for our marine life.

With that, marks the end of our Start Small, Dream Big project for the year 2019. Thank you to Our Singapore Reefs, S.E.A Aquarium, NEA, and children and parents from our centre for enabling us to embark on this journey and completing it with a bang!
