The children inquired about Singapore's native otters. Through hands-on activities and discussions, they learned about otter habitats, diet, and their role in the ecosystem. They explored where otters live by creating and playing a habitat sorting game, identifying suitable and unsuitable environments and encouraging critical thinking about animal needs. Extending their learning, the children designed and crafted paper bag otters, observing physical features and expressing their understanding creatively. These experiences fostered greater awareness and appreciation for Singapore’s native wildlife and the importance of protecting animals and their habitats.
