Here are some of our K1s with their pledges. They completed this activity at home during the Circuit Breaker period.

We held monthly disccusions with children about the topics: food wastage in Singapore, how we can recycle food and how we can use food to help people that are in need. We also introduced to them about Food from the Heart, which is an organisation in Singapore which reaches out to the less-fortunate and brighten their lives by alleviating hunger through a food distribution programme. We also encouraged children and their parents to write a pledge about minimizing food wastage at home.

A submission by one of our families. They took a picture after their dinner with an empty plate. They pledge not to waste food!

In our centre, we encourage children to fill up their plates with the food they can finish, to minimize food wastage. We encourage children to finish their food. Here we have some of our N2 and K2 children with their empty bowls and plates!
