Back from our trip to Garden by the Bay, our K1s started our 3 months term 2 enquiry about how to protect birds and their habitat. Champs were engaged with stories, videos, songs, role-playing and creating artwork. They learnt about protecting trees, flowers, grass and leaves which birds use to build their nest, in order to keep their egg and chicks safe. They also role-played as vets wanting to help injured birds, and used Legos to 'invent' special machines to clean up rubbish in wetlands (home to many wildlife). Lastly, our K1s made posters and signs to raise awareness about caring for Earth and keeping Earth clean.
