We had collaborated with the Centre for Fathering to organise a two-hour interactive session for the father and the child. The objective of the parent workshop was to create an opportunity for bond building between the pair of father and child.
The fathers of K2 children were invited to take part in the parent workshop, Breakfast with Dad.
After the Ice-Breaker activity , the children prepared the breakfast by choosing the food items of their choice.
During the Awareness activity, the father and child participated in a quiz. This was to create the opportunity for the fathers to know their child better.
In the Affirmation component, the father and child were separated in an adjoining room. The fathers took turn to articulate “I love you” from one room; the children listened and responded to their father by crossing to the other room.
