As part of our SSDB project, the children embarked on a meaningful intergenerational learning experience through a visit to NTUC Health at Chai Chee. The project aimed to foster empathy, respect, and social connectedness by providing opportunities for children to interact with senior citizens in a purposeful setting. During the visit, the children participated in engaging activities together with the seniors, including gross motor games that encouraged movement, coordination, and teamwork, as well as collaborative art activities that promoted creativity, communication, and self-expression. Through these shared experiences, the children developed confidence in interacting with older adults while learning the importance of kindness, inclusivity, and building meaningful relationships across generations. The project also brought joy to the senior citizens, creating a positive and enriching experience for both generations.
