Since 22 April 2026, our N2, K1 and K2 children have been collecting eggshells left over from breakfast as part of our zero-waste garden project.

The children carefully crushed the eggshells into smaller pieces and learned how they can be reused to enrich the soil instead of being thrown away. They then scattered the crushed eggshells around the plants, giving our garden a natural calcium boost!

Through this meaningful hands-on experience, the children developed a greater understanding of recycling, reducing food waste and caring for the environment. They were also excited to observe how quickly our seedlings have been growing.
