Let's Conserve & Reserve!

PCF Sparkletots Preschool @Kaki Bukit Blk 526 embarked on a Project on Panda. We collaborate with River Safari Singapore and went on a learning Journey to find out more about Panda. Children spend 4 weeks for this Project. They explore on the characteristics about Panda and also learning ways to conserve and reserve this cuddly animal which is going into extinction.

Back in class, children did various activities to reinforce on what they had discovered. Parents are invited into classrooms to do activities with their children .

As part of this project children also went for a neighbourhood walk to create an awareness of conserving Giant Pandas. Children did bookmarks with a message written on saving the environment and conserving the Pandas. These were given out to residents at the nearby market area and void decks near our schools. The children sent a useful message to the public and sang songs about Panda as they walked. A charity drive will be done in Term 4 as part of this project where all proceeds will go to Presidents Challenge!
