Learning simple ASL

Carpe Diem Childcare Resort’s SSDB advocacy for this year is about Kindness. Our K1 class learn about being visually handicapped and deaf.

The children learn basic sign language. The children work in small group to find out and learn the different sign language.

In their small group, the children create a poster. They picked the sign languages that they would like to teach others on their poster.

The children also learn the song ‘You are my sunshine’ with sign language. They were tasked to teach their family members on how to sign to the song “you are mu sunshine”.
