Launch of SSDB

We launched our Start Small Dream Big project on Earth day since our project is on sustainability. We involved the parents in the launch of the project by inviting them to join us in the party through zoom as well as to make a costume for their child to attend the party using recycled materials. During the launch party, we started off with briefing the parents on what the project is all about and how they can support us in the initiative. Next, we had a fashion show by the children from the playgroup class all the way to the K2 class. We ended off the party with K1 and K2 children dancing to the ‘Earth’ song. We were mindful of the materials used in decorating the centre and sourced for natural and recycled materials. Instead of using confetti to end off the party, we used dried leaves collected during our outdoor walk. It was a fun and memorable day not just for the children but the staff as well!
