On the 23rd June 2022, Kidz Meadow Eunos held its first Blue-Eyed Cockatoo Fundraising event for our adopted cockatoo, Bubbles.

Arsyila and Guganesh (K1 class) and Ashley (K2 class) assisted the teachers during the event. Parents were invited to join our fundraising event from 4 to 6pm parents were offered to take a photo with their children at our beautiful cockatoo photobooth, and the payment made was channeled to the fund raising. Aside from taking photo, parents also had a chance to guess the total number of orders we have received to win a prize.

Prior to this event, the centre had its pre-fundraising event where we asked parents if they would want to purchase bracelets and keychains that will be made by the N2-K2 children. Children showed eagerness and perseverance in creating these beautiful handmade keychains and bracelets made with a variety of beads. They showed enjoyment as they carefully chose the beads they wanted and added their names to it that made these keychain and bracelet truly special.

We would like to express our gratitude to all the children, parents and teachers who supported us and made this fundraising event a success. The total amount that we have collected is $420 (84 orders of bracelets and keychains)
