Introduction to Sustainability initiative

As part of our sustainability initiative on upcycling and recycling, the children deepened their understanding of responsible waste management through an educational talk conducted by ALBA. Building on their previous learning, the session introduced the children to the three main types of waste: e-waste (electronic waste), recyclables, and general trash. They explored the differences between each type of waste, learned how to sort and dispose of them correctly, and discussed why proper waste management is important for protecting our environment. The children also revisited the concept of upcycling, discovering how everyday items can be transformed into something new and useful instead of being discarded. This experience strengthened their awareness of sustainable practices and inspired them to think critically about how they can reduce waste and care for the Earth in their daily lives.
