We harvested the Blue Pea Pods from our garden just last week! Our teachers told us to pick the ones that are brown in colour.

In partnership with Preschool Market, we used their recyclable materials to make Lava lamps and planting pots. We packed the pea pods and our teachers attached it to the milk jugs from Preschool Market. We were introduced to a few drinks and desserts that can be made from the blue pea flower. For example, blue pea rice, blue pea lemonade and agar agar. We also sent home the planting instructions and recipes for parents and children to work with!

The children were excited to continue their planting journey using recyclables at home!
