Hari Raya 2023 celebration in Appleland Montessori. We started of the day with show and tell. The teachers introduced the different types of snacks and cookies to the children. They were given the opportunity to try the delicious, scrumptious cookies. Some of the snacks and cookies were given by the parents.
Then the teacher showed the green packet and ketupat. Next up in the itinerary was fashion show- whereby the Non-Muslims and Muslims children stood in front of the school to flaunt their beautiful costumes. Baju kurung is not only worn by the Muslims, but also the Non- Muslim children.
Last in the itinerary was Hari Raya dance by the K2 children. They could sing Malay song and also dance at the same time! Even the Chinese children were singing to the Hari Raya song. Great effort children!
