Growing Love, One Deed at a Time

Growing Kindness at Bright Kids ​The SSDB project at Bright Kids is designed to foster a culture of kindness among K2 children by encouraging them to perform acts of care for their families, friends, school, and the environment. To make these abstract values concrete, children are rewarded for their kind deeds with stickers, which they proudly place inside their own crafted heart jars.

For the K1 SSDB initiative, children focused on caring for the environment by performing a neighbourhood clean-up using litter pickers. They also learned to appreciate nature by observing local plants, building a sense of responsibility toward their community.

N2 children learn about kindness and forgiveness by roleplaying a new version of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". After Goldilocks apologizes for her mistakes and helps with tasks like cooking and fixing the bears' beds, the characters work together to show care. The story ends with them becoming friends who enjoy cooking for one another.
