In collaboration with St. Andrew’s Nursing Home and MapleTree Investments, the children were able to take part in serving the community through a planting activity.
They helped to set up mini-gardens in planter boxes with wheels to add greenery to the home. As there are some residents with limited mobility, these planter boxes can be brought indoors for them to enjoy nature, too.
The children, together with the residents of the home and volunteers from MapleTree Investments, also made pinwheels to add colour to the planter boxes.
It was a fruitful day for everyone who participated in this wonderful activity.
