We read a book on “ Why I love my grandma” by Daniel Howarth. I emphasise to the children that they must love,respect and show kindness to their grandparents.We had a discusion on how they can show kindness toward their grandparent at home. After which, the children
prepared a care-kit for their grandparents.It comprised of wet-tissue,hand sanitiser, salon pas and a biscuit. The children folded a heart-shape and wrote a sweet notes to their grandparents.
The children presented their care package gift to their grandparents during dismissal. While some children gave the care kit at home. It was indeed a great moment for the children and grandparents as they hug and said “I love you”
to their grandparent
