Gardens By The Bay - Green Gardians

The children became Green Guardians by completing the Gardens By The Bay Green Gardians activity sheet. The children completed different activities where they learned about renewable energy, recycling, local farming and sustainability.

Firstly the children learned about recycling, they talked about what items can or cannot be recycled. They learned about Bloobins places in the neighbourhood and the importance of recycling.

The children read a stories on Gardens by the Bay and learn about the different animals. They created an artwork depicting the different animals they can find at Gardens by the Bay.

The children finally learned about the importance and benefits of local produce. The children talked about local farms and local produce and also harvested vegetables they grew in school. The children prepared the vegetables they harvested and learn to cook simple dishes with a parent volunteer.
