Field Trip to Hydroponic Farm

In the month of April, the K1 and K2 children went for a field trip to the Hydroponic farm. They were given the opportunity to see how vegetables can be grown through the hydroponic system. They observed how water was used in the process and its importance.They also helped the farmers transplant the potted plants.

The children also smelled and tasted different organic vegetables. At the end of the day, DIY _Dou Miao_ kits were given to the children for them to grow at home!

“Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to garden and the whole neighbourhood gets tomatoes.”
