Focus: Plants We Can Feel

The children were brought to the Spice Garden on the 5th floor of OUE Downtown Gallery 2. The children picked up different leaves that have fallen on the ground, and brough them back to school to observe the leaves. The children than labelled the leaves with words that described the leaves textures, and voted to make a “tree with all the different leaves”. So Teacher Philiz helped to laminate the leaves to preserve them, then guided the children to stick the labelled leaves of different textures onto a giant tree branch to help the K2s make their “tree with different leaves”.
