The K2 embarked into the project “Turning Trash into Flash” with the incorporation of their learning on personal grooming (clean and dirty clothes). The children were requested to bring an old denim to them to make a purse. Today, the fashion industry is using resources than the planet allows. By recycling the clothes, the children are helping to reduce the amount of natural resources to produce new garments. The K2’s are commited to changing the way we make use and dispose the clothes. They had a wide awareness and understanding that if they will not do the 3R’s ( reduce , reuse , recycle ) tons of textile will be thrown away with household waste causing a lot of damage to the Earth.
