Our Skool Ready children had a heartwarming and meaningful visit to the seniors at Vanguard Senior Home, where they demonstrated care, respect, and kindness through music, games, and joyful interactions.

The children delighted the seniors with a lively performance of familiar oldies songs, bringing smiles, laughter, and cherished memories. They also participated in interactive games alongside the seniors, encouraging teamwork, communication, and meaningful conversations across generations. Through these shared experiences, the children learned to appreciate and respect older adults while showing empathy, patience, and compassion.

This enriching intergenerational experience strengthened the bond between the young and the elderly, fostering a sense of community and belonging. It also provided the children with valuable opportunities to develop social-emotional skills and instilled important values such as respect, kindness, gratitude, and care for others. By connecting with the seniors, the children gained a deeper understanding of the importance of building relationships across generations and bringing joy to those around them.
