Caring Heart for the Community and the Environment

For the year 2019 we embarked on a journey to make the world a better place to live in via our program Caring Heart: Care for the Environment and Community.

This journey is the continuation of our 2018 program where we worked closely with the St. Luke’s Elder Care Program.

Our beach and park clean -up is another program that we will be continuing this year.

The children were encouraged to use the materials in our Environmental Conservation Corner to re-create into useful item or teaching aids-Reused- Reduced-Recycled.

We went to liven up the elders in the elder care centre since last year. We sang, danced, do craft works with the elderly. The children served cakes and tea that they bought too.

This year we were invited to perform once again for the centre’s opening ceremony with our MP Mr. Murali in attendance. We were proud to be able to make the elders enjoyed our show.
