The Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) Launch Party was held on 11th June 2026, focusing on the theme of “Caring for creatures of the sea”. The children put on their orange SSDB hat and listened attentively to the presentation sharing, where they learned about the importance of protecting marine life and keeping the ocean clean. Through the sharing, the children discussed different ways they can care for sea creatures, such as reducing litter, throwing rubbish into the bins, and keeping the environment clean.

They also participated in an “I-Spy” activity, where they listened carefully to descriptions of different ocean animals, identified them, and coloured the animals on their activity sheet. This activity helped build their listening skills, observation, and knowledge of marine life. The children will soon embark on their "A Plastic Tale" programme and guided tour at the Singapore Oceanarium, where they will deepen their understanding of marine conservation and learn how plastic pollution impacts our oceans and the animals that live in them.
