On 28 April , we invited SRC to come into our centre to conduct a child parent workshop to be aware on basic CPR + AED skills and knowledge, the 2 hours workshop, allowed the parents and child to equipped basic knowledge and application skills in CPR + AED to apply during an emergency: 1. Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) effectively on adult unconscious casualties. 2. Perform the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) effectively on adult unconscious casualties. Fieldtrip to Singapore Red Cross Junior Humanitarian Trail at the SRC campus 25 May 2026 Children had an enriching and meaningful learning journey at the Singapore Red Cross Junior Humanitarian Trail. They discovered how the organisation helps the community through humanitarian charity work and caring for those in need. The children actively participated in hands-on activities such as learning and performing abdominal thrusts for choking emergencies, practising CPR and using the AED with guidance. They also learned the importance of preparing a go bag during emergencies and enjoyed an exciting outdoor water filtration game. The trip ended with the children returning to school with valuable knowledge, memorable experiences and thoughtful gifts from the Singapore Red Cross Junior
