Sustainability begins with community! In a wonderful home-school collaboration, our families gathered clean recyclable items—from egg cartons and milk containers to Yakult bottles and tissue boxes—for our children to bring to class.
Our K1 and K2 learners took charge of sorting these materials into their respective recycling bins, putting the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) into real-world practice. These collected treasures will be repurposed as creative art and craft materials and hands-on learning centre resources. To complete our circular sustainability effort, remaining items will be collected by CORA-environment in an exciting community partnership that shows our children how little hands can make a big impact on our planet!
