Basic first aid

The children were introduced to some of the tools that doctors used. They had discussions and shared their thoughts. Pictures of basic first aid were shown to the children (eg. bandaging hands/legs, cleaning of wounds, etc). They had an opportunity to learn and perform some basic first aid if anyone is hurt at home, to help ease the healthcare workers job a little. They were interested in doing the activity and enjoyed it.
