Appreciation & Racial Harmony Day at Silver Circle Day Care

My First Skool @ PR4 embarked on this project to be appreciative of community helpers around us. Our K1 class visited the Silver Circle Day Care Centre. The children and parents donated food items such as kopi O, milo packets, wheat crackers, cream crackers, et cetera for seniors. The K1 children enjoyed the morning engaged in passing the parcel game, traditional games (kuti-kuti, country erasers, tops, handmade spinners, etc), as well as dance performances.

Other than expressing care & concern to the elders, having a bond session, we also showed appreciation to staffs working there (care takers, cook, cleaner). Each child customised their card to individual staffs to be given out. Prior to this, we also presented token of appreciation to children’s helpers at home for their care and police officers & firemen for their bravery and efforts in keeping us safe.
