Anti-Littering Campaign @Zhenghua

The school begin its year by continuing the anti-littering program throughout Semester 1. Children learnt about keeping the environment clean and the importance of 3Rs. Children did activities like practiced throwing an object from a distance, watched videos on the 3Rs and took part in segregating recyclables and non-recyclables. Children also create an art piece using reusable materials. They even went out to pick up litters around the neighbourhood.

Children had the opportunity to work with our alumni, Ms Cindy, where she gave a talk on steps to recycle everyday items.

We are also grateful to our parents for volunteering throughout the campaign especially during picking up of litters.

We hope this campaign will help to cultivate values of care for the environment and may children continues to apply it in their daily life.
