A Tribute to Community Workers

On 24 May 2024, our preschool proudly hosted a special tribute for a group of often-overlooked community heroes – the construction workers. As part of our Start Small Dream Big project, the event aimed to provide these workers with a well-deserved moment of rest and appreciation, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

Held at the Multi-Purpose Hall from 10am to 11.30am, the event featured heartfelt performances by our Playgroup to Kindergarten 2 children. After a warm welcome by Ms. Janice, our children delighted the audience with their charming performances. The highlight of the event was the segment where children and/or parents distributed thank you cards and refreshments to the workers as a token of gratitude for their contributions to our community.

The event wrapped up with smiles, applause, and a sense of appreciation, as we all took a moment to recognise the importance of their hard work. Through this project, our children learned valuable lessons about gratitude, kindness, and community spirit.
