2026 Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) Project @ The Schoolhouse Dover

Embarking on Start Small Dream Big project for the third year, Preschool Years (Nursery, K1 and K2) class teachers and children gathered together to discuss ideas and set title for our project this year during our SSDB launch party in January. We voted and decided on the title “We Care for our Earth”.

With this project, families were engaged to bring in recyclables such as used red packets, plastic and Tetra Pak. Children also learnt about Recycling Right and recapped on what goes into the different bins we have in Singapore.

As we work towards zero waste this June holiday, our Centre has collaborated with community partners and signed up for related programmes such as My Preschool Shines @ South West and Go Green SG by Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE). We have also upcycled and created a Father’s Day craft using the recyclables we have in school.
