“A Special Storytime with Grandma”

As part of the Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project under the theme “Kind Hearts, Strong Bonds,” the Nursery 1 children had a special storytelling session focused on appreciating their grandparents. A grandparent was warmly invited to the classroom to read a big book titled “Big Brother and Little Brother.”

Her expressive storytelling and use of the big book’s large visuals captured the children’s attention and supported their early literacy development. The children listened attentively and actively responded to questions throughout the session, showing both understanding and excitement.

This meaningful experience not only nurtured their love for reading but also created a warm and memorable connection with the visiting grandparent.
