In celebrating the World Oceans Day 2019, our centre’s second SSDB Project will be the ‘Save the Ocean!’. It aims to raise awareness of the vital importance of our oceans and the role they play in sustaining a healthy planet. This project also highlights on how we can all help to protect and conserve the oceans through reducing plastic usage and pollution in ocean.

As part of this project, our centre visited the Resort World Sentosa’s SEA aquarium where our K1 & K2 children explored and learnt more about the sea creatures and also how plastic pollution affects them.

Our centre had also initiated activities which can curb the plastic pollution!

*With the help from our parents, we collected plastic bottles to give a new life to it!*

As a final collaboration project with our parents, we did a charity sale on metal straws during our Parent’s-Teachers conference in July and we raised the awareness on saying no straws & reducing the use of plastic products!

Together, we can make a positive difference to our marine environment and help protect & conserve our beautiful ocean and underwater life!
