"Going Green - A Love for Our Neighbourhood" 20th July 2017

“Going Green - A Love for Our Neighbourhood” project aims to encourage children to cultivate love, responsibility and respect for our environment. We hope to instil in our children the importance of caring for the environment, as well as looking after public properties.

In light of recent teenage vandalism and high rise littering, there is a cause for school, families and the community to work together in helping our children to understand that everyone has a part to play in society. Therefore, we should start early in increasing awareness among our children about taking care of the environment, starting from the neighbourhood where they reside.

Parents and Mr Quek from National Environment Agency (NEA) joined our children in our weekly project “Go Green - A Love for Our Neighbourhood” to pick up litters in the park, playground and corridors around our centre. Making this project meaningful and fruitful for our children.
